What could be more irritating than an employee who does not follow instructions? He either is not as serious as necessary or pays less attention to instructions. Either way, mistakes, faulty products unhappy and disappointed clients are the results. Following instructions shows that the employee takes his responsibilities seriously and is capable of shouldering additional responsibility. Reliability also means showing up for work on time, informing the concerned authorities when he cannot make it, and keeping to deadlines.
Nothing can replace the significance of hard work. Some people work hard for a few years and then lose pace. In addition, people who are particular about working only from 9 to 5 even when urgent projects need to be completed cannot be considered as as hardworking as one who is willing to put in extra time and effort.
